Main Focus
As a Ph.D. student I am working on charge separation in water droplets. My goal is to study these effects on structured surfaces. My focus is fabricating Janus pillars with photolithography and plasma and/or chemical treatment. I am investigating the chemical and physical processes underlying the electrification of polymer-water contacts using various surface and interfacial analysis techniques.
