Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research
Main Focus
Richard's research focusses on the ground-up synthesis of Peptide Nanocapsules to be used as a versatile carrier system for drug delivery applications. This includes the synthesis and characterization of peptides, the development and optimization of synthesis pathways for nanostructures and their characterization and evaluation.
Curriculum Vitae
Richard earned his Bachelor's and Master's degree in chemistry at the University of Cologne and finished his studies there in 2023. During his Master's thesis he spent 6 months for research at the Institute for Nanoscience and Materials associated to the University of Zaragoza. Soon after completing his Master's degree he joined the Landfester Group at the Max-Planck Institute for Polymer Research to pursue a PhD.
